Harmony Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church. It is a non-denominational church based upon the New Testament church started in the book of Acts. The Bible is our authority. Our desire is to be "not the only Christian, but Christian only".

Regardless of your past, Jesus Christ offers you abundant life! "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly." John 10:10

At Harmony Christian Church we strive to have a Sunday worship that is meaningful, relevant, and uplifting. We try to blend hymns and choruses in our worship. We add to that the reading and preaching of God's Word, along with the Lord's Supper. Our goal is that we have a time each week that honors, praises, and worships God, as well as strengthens us to live as Christians in this world, and helps us have an abundant life!

We also offer opportunities to instruct adults and children in the Bible, showing a person God's answers to life's difficult questions. The church is a caring community of believers, the body of Christ, the Family of God. We are a family, not bound together by ordinary blood, but by the blood of Jesus, who died for the sins of all.

When you hear the word Church, think of people submitted to God, supporting one another. The people that make up Harmony Christian Church invite you to come and join us as we strive to be God's people. Come worship with us, and be a part of the great things going on here at Harmony Christian Church.

What We Believe: We do not have a creed of any kind, but go directly by the Bible.

We believe....

...that the Bible is without error, and is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21)

...that there is one God existing in three co-equal person; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Sprit. (John 1:1; John 10:30; Matthew 28:19)

...that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. (Matthew 16:16)

...in Christ's:

  •     deity (He is God!) (John 10:33)

  •     virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35)

  •     miracles (John 2:11)

  •     sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26)

  •     atoning death on the cross (I Corinthians 15:3; Luke 23:1-46)

  •     bodily resurrection on the third day (I Corinthians 15:4; Luke 24:1-8)

  •     ascension into heaven (Acts 1:9)

  •     return to earth one day (Acts 1:11)

...that the Holy Spirit is an agent in conversion, that He indwells in every Christian, enabling us to live a godly life. (John 16:7-14; I Corinthians 6:19; II Timothy 1:14)

...that all have sinned and are in need of the Savior, Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23)

...that it is by grace we are saved, through faith in Jesus Christ and that it is a gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)

...that the Bible teaches we need to: believe (Acts 16:31), repent (Acts 2:38), confess (Romans 10:10), and be baptized (immersed) (Acts 2:38; Acts 8:35-39), but that none of these is sufficient in, and of, itself for the assurance of salvation.

..in observing the Lord's Supper (Communion), and we participate in it weekly to keep the remembrance of His death on of the focal points of our worship service. (Acts 20:7; I Corinthians 10:16,17)
